2 egg whites
175 g/6 oz caster (superfine) sugar
50 g/2 oz chocolate chips
25 g/1 oz walnuts, finely chopped
Method:
Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/ gas
mark 5. Beat the egg whites until they form soft peaks. Gradually add
the sugar and beat until the mixture forms stiff peaks. Fold in the
chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture on to
greased baking (cookie) sheets and place in the oven. Turn off the
oven and leave until cool.
