Rub the butter or margarine into the our
until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar and press
into an un-greased 23 cm/9 in square baking tin (pan). Bake in a
preheated oven at 190°C/350°F/gas mark 4 for 15 minutes until just
set.
Blend together the eggs, brown sugar and salt, then stir in the
coconut and nuts and spread over the base. Bake for 20 minutes until
set and golden. Ice with orange icing when cool. Cut into bars.
